3.10 RECORDING THE UNIQUE HARDWARE ID

The Unique Hardware ID is required by GCO in London to control the encryption permissions for Reuters RLS

content. This information must be accuractly recorded and given to the GCO team in London.

The Hardware ID can be found in one of two locations on an RX8200. On the web management interface as

shown below under the Customization tool.

The Hardware ID can also be seen on the front panel display of the RX8200 under menu option 5.2.3
